Molly’s View for Charity

We support two charities each year, by donating to them the use of this holiday home to raise funds. Charities applying for support must be registered with the Charity Commission and have at least 3 years of accounts filed on time. Charities can use funds raised for restricted or unrestricted purposes associated with their charitable objects.

We invite applications from charities in September of each year, for the following year. We do not consider charitable applications at any other time of the year.

To apply please contact us through this website to tell us about your charity. Please include links to your website and information about the benefit your charity brings to society. Please also tell us exactly how you want to use holiday home to raise funds, including information about any charity auctions or raffles, the dates the competition will run, the draw or auction date, and how much you hope to raise. Please think about the timing of any competition closing dates, and how much notice your winner will have to take the holiday. Please also tell us how you are compliant with any relevant local authority or gambling commission laws.

We reserve the right to contact you to discuss your application further and we reserve the right to turn down applications. Our decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

If we select your charity to support, we will:

  1. Agree with you the specified check in and check out dates which will apply to the prize.
  2. Agree with you any cancellation or transfer of dates terms. If it is possible to change the dates to better suit the prize winner we will endeavour to do so, for alternative dates which are no more than 6 months following the original prize.
  3. Provide you with the full terms and conditions of the prize, including permitted occupancy and other information essential which anyone entering a draw, raffle or auction needs to know before they decide to enter the competition.
  4. Ask you to share how much you raised from this prize, and to your charity logo with us, and to agree a short paragraph about the charity to include on our website. We will remove this information once the charity prize has been fulfilled.

Once the prize has been won/allocated to a winner, you and the winner must agree to contact us and permit us access to their contact information and other data as if they were a paying customer booking to stay at Molly’s View. We will provide the winner with the same information that we normally provide to our paying guests prior to and during their stay, including the terms and conditions which apply to their holiday.
